Merryck & Co. announces the appointment of a new Chair, EMEA

LONDON — Merryck & Co., the global leadership firm is pleased to announce that Annemarie Durbin has been appointed Chair of the Company, and has joined the Board as a Director, with effect from 1 October 2019.

Annemarie brings 30 years’ international business and banking experience across Asia, Africa and the Middle East with ANZ and then Standard Chartered Bank including being CEO and executive director of a large, publicly listed subsidiary and latterly a member of the Group Executive Committee.

She has a track record of transforming businesses to generate sustainable attractive returns in complex, multinational & multinational business environments.  In addition to executive coaching, Annemarie has a portfolio of chair and non-executive board roles, is an accredited mediator and a board governance and effectiveness consultant.

She is presently Chair of Cater Allen Private Bank and an independent non-executive director for both Santander UK PLC and WHSmith PLC, chairing  the Remuneration Committee for both companies.

She succeeds current Chairman Pat Chapman-Pincher, who has been the Chair for the past two years and who will continue to mentor senior business leaders and their teams with Merryck.
