Gerard Dalbosco
Following a distinguished career with EY, where he held a number of senior leadership roles across Oceania and Asia Pacific, Gerard is an experienced Non-Executive Director, where he is focused on working with people and organisations that make a difference.
His is currently a Non-Executive Director of Medibank Private (Chair of Audit Committee and member of Risk Committee), Chair of Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools, Chair of the Gillespie Family Council and Gillespie Family Foundation (founders/owners of Bakers Delight), and Director of the Melbourne Prize Trust.
Gerard is a purpose-driven leader and has a passion for organisational and people development. In addition to the breadth of expertise gained via his many years in professional services, Gerard is recognised for his commitment to progressive leadership and desire to impact philanthropic and for purpose organisations and their leadership teams.
Gerard’s career at EY included a number of senior leadership roles including Oceania Managing Partner and CEO; Asia Pacific Joint Deputy CEO and Managing Partner-Markets; Oceania Managing Partner-Transaction Advisory Services; and Melbourne Managing Partner.
Prior to these roles Gerard built a successful M&A career advising many organisations across a range of sectors in respect of merger and acquisitions advice, valuations, and strategic, commercial and financial due diligence.
Throughout his time at EY, he was also able to gain extensive non-executive experience via a broad range of governance roles, including Mercy Health (Director and Chair of Finance and Audit Committee), Committee for Melbourne (Director, Deputy Chair and Chair of Finance, Audit and Risk), Loreto Mandeville Hall Toorak (Chair and Chair of Finance Committee), Berry Street Victoria (Director and Member of Finance Committee), NGV Business Council (Chair) and Newman College (member of Finance Committee).
Gerard is married with four children and enjoys spending time with family and friends. He is an avid golfer, passionate Hawthorn fan and follows many other sports. He also enjoys (non-business) travel, food and wine exploration and the many delights offered by the Mornington Peninsula.
