Bernhard Raschke

Bernhard has a wealth of international experience including CTO in a publicly listed company and leader roles in both management consulting and professional service firms. As an Operating Partner at Merryck & Co his focus is on the growth and expansion of accounts across Europe with A specific focus on the UK, Switzerland and Germany.

 

A certified coach himself, Bernhard is also a Merryck Mentor and combines both his coaching and business experience to support executive leaders.

Bernhard believes in developing high performing teams and individual executives using a ‘grow the whole person to grow the whole leader’ approach that empowers individuals to bring their authentic self to work. His experience in executive search, having placed over 100 CXOs, gives him unique insight into succession and onboarding as well as career counselling.

Before joining Merryck he was the Chief Transformation Officer for RS Electrocomponents Group (FTSE100, revenues of over $3bn). Bernhard was responsible for shaping and driving their transformation programme as well as reinventing the Group’s approach to talent management and succession. He spent 8 years with Korn Ferry and led EMEA Supply Chain & Procurement across all service lines. Bernhard was also a coach and facilitator for their leadership development offering.

 

At PWC Bernhard was the global lead partner for Supply Management & Procurement consulting and was the UK lead partner for Operations for Industrial Products and Services. Bernhard worked for ten years at A.T. Kearney in Supply Chain and Procurement and was a Co-Founder of the A.T. Kearney European CPO Club, Bernhard is also a Fellow and Advisory Board Member for the International Institute for Advanced Purchasing and Supply (IIAPS). Whilst at KPMG, Germany and UK, he became a core member of their Business Transformation Practice that spearheaded their global approach to design and implement large scale change programmes.

 

Bernhard earned a master’s degree in business administration with a focus on Organisational Science, Marketing and IT from the University of Cologne, Germany. He is an accredited coach (ACCT) and certified Hogan Assessor and is training in Internal family systems (IFS).

 

 

Bernhard has two grown up sons and has lived in London for the last 30 years. He was born and raised in Germany where he spent the first half of his life studying and working. He loves skiing, motor cycling, yoga and travelling.
