Appointed as CEO of both businesses, Merryck & Co and Mentore Consulting in June 2024, Emma Avignon’s role is to lead the future growth of both businesses with a vision and strategy founded in the shared commitment to elevate and enhance leaders’ skills and performance.
Emma and the Merryck and Mentore teams work with businesses to identify, develop and accelerate their most talented professionals by providing highly customised mentoring and executive team development programmes. Inclusive leadership sits at the heart of the business helping organisations develop inclusive leaders and diverse leaders, teams and cultures.
Emma’s purpose has always been centered around diversity and Emma is committed to enabling mentees to flourish, creating high performance leadership teams, whilst also achieving a diversity of thinking at the top of organisations.
Emma is passionate about working with companies to create environments for all people to flourish. Through her consultancy work, Emma advises companies on how to embed diversity and inclusion goals into the heart of their business strategy – to achieve measurable, sustainable change and engagement from across all groups of people in the organisation.
Emma has more than 20 years of experience working for large professional services firms including PWC and EY, where she provided restructuring and transaction advice to multi-national corporations. Emma consulted with both boards and executive leadership teams to drive the development and delivery of strategic initiatives.
Emma also mentors future business leaders across corporate, charities and social enterprises.
Emma is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a BA in Modern Languages, French and German, from the University of Leeds. She enjoys art, music, gardening and the outdoors, whilst blending her work with looking after and having fun with her two teenage children.
