Sir Roger Carr is the Chair of Global Mentors Group, who provide world-class mentoring through its companies, including Merryck enabling leaders to take on the most challenging leadership roles in the world. He is also a Non-Executive Director of Merryck.

Sir Roger Carr is a Senior Advisor to KKR, including Chair of Upfield and a member of the Board of Wella. He is also a Visiting Fellow of Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.

He stepped down as Chair of BAE systems in May 2023 and in his extensive Boardroom career, as one of the most sought-after Non-Executive Directors and Chairs in the City, has also held roles as Chairman of Centrica plc, Chairman of Cadbury plc, Vice Chairman of the BBC Trust, Deputy Chairman and Senior Independent Director of the Court of the Bank of England and President of the Confederation of British Industry, Chair of Chubb plc, Chair of Mitchells & Butlers plc, Chair of Thames Water plc and Chief Executive Officer of Williams plc, a Vice President of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity and a Trustee of Bletchley Park.

He was knighted for Services to Business in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours list 2011.
