Teresa Caruso

Overview

Teresa is Head of Client Services at CMi Merryck where she works closely with the management team in supporting efforts to drive business development and marketing and events initiatives. She oversees the Client communications strategy for the business, manages both the client and mentor quality control process and provides ongoing operational support to all the Faculty Members.  Teresa is also responsible for maintaining CMi Merryck’s customer relationship management system (Salesforce) for Australia/New Zealand to generate meaningful reports for the management team for business development and throughout the client’s mentoring life cycle.

Career History

Earlier in her career, Teresa worked as a Tax Manager for two of the Big 4 Accounting Firms; Deloitte and Ernst & Young where she specialised in international expatriate taxes for a portfolio of multinational companies.  She then moved to a Recruitment Manager role within Deloitte where she worked closely with the Partners to recruit senior level Accounting, Tax and Finance candidates for their clients.  Prior to joining CMi Merryck, Teresa worked at RGP, a global consulting firm with a focus on interim project work across business transformation, governance, risk and compliance and technology.  As Director of Recruiting, Teresa was responsible for the senior level talent sourcing and talent management function across Australia.  Teresa holds a Bachelor of Business from Swinburne University and is CPA qualified.

Personal

Teresa enjoys living near the beach with her husband and young son.  She enjoys Pilates, morning walks along the beach, attempting stand up paddle boarding and has a passion for interior designing and home renovation projects.
