Focused Mentoring, Lasting Impact
Structured mentoring provides clarity, confidence and actionable insights from seasoned business leaders, including Chairs, executive officers and non-executive directors. Tailored to individual needs, Mentore mentoring accelerates leadership progress, helping leaders sharpen decision-making, build essential skills and achieve measurable outcomes. This programme prepares Senior Leaders to thrive in their roles, lead with purpose and make meaningful contributions to their organisation’s success.
A Framework for Progress
The mentoring journey starts with a clear alignment of goals, development needs and organisational priorities. Leaders are matched with a ‘best-fit’ mentor through an initial chemistry meeting to establish trust and a productive partnership. Over six focused sessions spanning 12–15 months, the programme targets individual leadership challenges and delivers practical solutions.
Built on a structured framework, this programme provides a clear actionable plan, practical tools and consistent check-ins to ensure sustained engagement and measurable outcomes. Mentors act as trusted advisors, offering expert guidance to navigate complexities with confidence and precision.

“My experience has been transformational. I was lucky to have had an exceptional Mentor who challenged, inspired, and coached me on different aspects of my work, my life, and the interconnecting points between the two. The ability to bounce around ideas, solicit advice, and test out thinking with someone who has a different set of experiences and no vested interest, is liberating. I believe I am both a better leader as well as a more well-rounded person as a result – in the time of my mentorship I was promoted, became a Board Trustee of two organisations, and bought a house. A nicely balanced set of outcomes, as far as I’m concerned.”

“I have tremendously enjoyed the mentorship program, and built a very positive relationship with my mentor. She gave me lots of insightful perspectives and valuable feedback. I plan to stay in touch with her at cross roads in my career and life, as I really value her perspective and it is great to be able to confidentially bounce things off each other.”

“I was taken out of my comfort zone which made me think about things in a completely new way. Mentoring has been transformational for my executive development.”

“My time with my mentor has helped me build the skills to be a credible candidate to get a FTSE100 NED and achieve my ambition for my first CFO role to be with a FTSE 100 organisation.”

“My mentoring experience stands out as the most impactful executive development I have ever encountered. It was evident in every session with my mentor David that he quickly understood my challenges and could offer honest and straightforward guidance which I know will benefit me for the rest of my career. Emma’s approach of preparing in advance of mentoring sessions is fantastic, ensuring that time is well deployed and results are achieved throughout the process. I have matured and turned a corner in understanding myself and how to be successful in organisations.”

“Part of the huge value of this programme is taking the time to sit back and reflect on what you’ve done, not done, what’s ok and what is really hard…it’s quite powerful to take time out to do that and then to explore how to move forward. This has been particularly relevant as I took on a new challenge and explored with my mentor how I might think of some new approaches to develop my overall leadership style.”

“I thought yesterday’s session was amazing and feel truly inspired by the opportunity. My mind set has already altered after just one session.”
Michelle Kent

“It was a brilliant experience and I was sad when it ended. Having access to the experience and external perspective of a senior mentor was really beneficial and we made a lot of progress on the goals we had set out at the start.”

“The development of our senior leaders is a fundamental part of our people strategy but as a ‘not for profit’ we have to ensure that we spend our money wisely. We therefore have particularly high expectations of our external providers and I’m pleased to say that they have been met by delivering transformational developmental support for our most senior women through their mentoring programme. It makes sense to invest in top talent this way, as we know it will have trickle-down benefits for our performance as an organisation.”

“This is a totally different experience. I have been mentored now for six months by Tessa Jowell and the discussions that we have are always strategic bringing a breadth of thinking I have not experienced before from a coaching perspective. Mentoring in this way opens your mind to new ways of thinking, challenging the views and perceptions you previously held on to and seemed so part of me. It is nothing like any other coaching or mentoring experience. Whilst I am still on a journey my reflections of reality are different today than six months ago and bring to me a sense of clear purpose and intent that I can honestly say has been liberating.”
