Dominic Reid OBE
As the former founding CEO of the Invictus Games Foundation, Dominic Reid expanded the success of the inaugural London 2014 Games. He was responsible for the delivery of the Games and the nurturing of the Invictus spirit and its global impact. He oversaw successful Games in London, Orlando, Toronto, Sydney, The Hague, and Düsseldorf, and worked towards the first winter hybrid Games in Vancouver/Whistler in 2025. He is currently the Pageantmaster of the Lord Mayor’s Show.
During his career he has held roles including Director of the 350th Anniversary Programme of the Royal Society, Executive Director of the Oxford & Cambridge Boat Race, London Film Commissioner, and Governor of the Museum of London.
Dominic trained and practised as an architect and holds an MA in architecture from Cambridge University and a postgraduate diploma from the Bartlett School of Architecture at UCL. He was appointed OBE in 2003 for services to the City of London and The Queen’s Golden Jubilee. He is one of His Majesty's Commissioners of Lieutenancy for the City of London and a former soldier.
